SINGING & GIGGLING
Jared is very much into singing now. Until recently, he liked to listen to me sing, but now he sings along! This morning, he started singing, "Try, try, try." I haven't sung that song to him very many times, so I was surprised! So we sang the whole song (Jesus Once Was a Little Child) and he knew quite a few of the words.
He also likes "Saturday is a Special Day," "If You're Happy and You Know It," "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam, " and "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes." Except on that last one, he insists that you not sing "ears." He's kinda weird about his ears.
He also likes "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
Zach has started to giggle when I make certain noises while playing with him. He also likes it when I "eat" or give him lots of kisses on his chest and cheeks. Coincidentally, Zach was wearing the same pajamas that Jared was wearing the first time he giggled! (see photo)
A Cabela's store just opened down the road from us. We went there for Family Home Evening this week. Here's a link to the scrapbook page I did for it. Jared liked the fish the best.
At lunch, Jared laughed through the prayer. Afterward, I told him that he shouldn't laugh through the prayer because it wasn't nice to Jesus, because we should be reverent. He gave me a quizzical look and said, "But Jesus make us happy during the prayer."
