WE'RE HOME!
We made it home from El Salvador! We woke up at 3 am AZ time and didn't get home until 10:30 pm. What a long day, especially for the boys. Our flight was delayed in LAX while they changed the tires on our plane. That's a new one! Then when Ryan's parents picked us up from the airport, three of the four baggage carousels were broken, so three flights' luggage piled up on one. When we got to Ryan's parent's house, we discovered that we had grabbed someone else's bag! Oops! Apparently the airline called my sister, Kelly, in Missouri, about the problem, but we'd already started to take care of it. Poor Ryan had to go back to the airport to exchange bags.
We stayed at the Lancasters for Jennifer's birthday dinner. They announced that she and Scott are engaged!
Ryan couldn't bear to wake up on time for work, and planned to sleep in. We all did! Because we had no milk for cereal, I got up and made us all waffles. I made one batch, but they kept disappearing! I had to make 2 1/2 more batches before everyone had had enough to eat. Jared ate 4 waffles, and Zach ate 3, all by themselves! I think we need to start saving now for their teenage years. Our grocery bill might eclipse our mortgage payment when they're teenagers!
