FINALLY, SOME RAIN!
I'd like to say that it hasn't rained a drop since we moved to Boise, but it has. About three drops, in fact. But that's it.
So imagine my surprise when I looked out the window and saw dark clouds approaching from the west. I had just finished packing for our much-anticipated picnic dinner at Lake Lowell in Nampa (which is to our west), and was about to start hauling the cooler and picnic basket to the Jeep.
So I called Ryan at his office in Nampa (we were going to pick him up on the way to the lake) and he said it was raining sideways.
Cancel the picnic.
What timing for rain to show up!!! The boys enjoyed the thunderstorm, but I think we would have rather had our picnic.
