FALL IS HERE!
The weather got quite chilly last week. We even had to turn on the heater! Some of the leaves have begun to change color, but you have to really look for them. I scrambled to find warm clothes for us, since we were planning on being moved into a house by now. Our closets are crammed as the weather is quite variable, so we need short- and long-sleeved shirts.
We're really enjoying Boise. As we ponder about our house hunt, we have realized that we've grown quite attached to the Green Belt, and are very sad at the thought of leaving it. But we don't know if we can find a neighborhood near it, near the freeway, with good schools, kids, and babysitters. Most of that occurs in Meridian, which is miles away from the Green Belt.
Last night, as I was driving home from the temple, the moon was HUGE! It was just above the mountains, against a twilight purple sky that faded to blue. It was amazing.
This really is a beautiful place. My one issue is the spiders! There are spiderwebs everywhere. They cover trees along the river and are in every crevice and corner. Despite my use of the broom, they're on our front and back steps, and Ryan even found one in the back of my Jeep! I just saw a small but robust-looking spider scurry across the ceiling above my computer. Eeew! I suppose it's befitting of the upcoming Halloween season, but I HATE SPIDERS!
