NOW I'VE GOT IT!
My niece brought home strep throat from school this week. Then her brother got it, too. We've been trying to keep our households separate, but I've managed to contract it now. I feel awful, but I caught it early because I already knew what it was. So I went to CVS's Minute Clinic today and got a prescription for antibiotics just a few hours after I felt the sore throat. Hopefully that will mean I won't suffer the worst of it.
Now I'm on a mission to make sure the boys don't get it. I won't be contagious anymore tomorrow night, but in the meantime, I'm carrying hand sanitizer with me in my pocket. It could be a losing battle, because there's a 1-5 day incubation. So they've already been exposed and might not get sick for 4 more days. Ugh! Keep us in your prayers!
