VOCAB-O-RAMA
Zachs' vocabulary, while not easily understood, is growing rapidly. Grandpa Eagar says that everything sounds like "poo poo" and "pee pee." And, well, it kinda does. At church, he sat on my lap and declared loudly that my necklace was "pee pee!" meaning pretty. And he says purple "poo poo." That's in addition to his knowing their traditional meanings and stating them every time he sees a toilet.
The boys helped me strip wallpaper from my mom's bathroom walls. Of course, it's a special treat for them to be allowed to spray walls with water in spray bottles and rip paper off of it. But there was much less spraying needed than the boys wanted to supply. So I had them "spray down" the inside of the shower. But that was only fun for a while. Then Zach wanted to keep spraying the wall. After I said "no, spray the shower" about 20 times, Zach's limited communication abilities frustrated him. Utter concentration and sheer will-power finally resulted in his saying, "no wower, wah!" Translation being, "No shower, wall!"
