SHARING CLOTHES
I've been wondering when the day would come that Zach and Jared wear the same size of clothing. No, it hasn't happened quite yet. Jared moved up to 5T shirts a few months ago, and amazingly, just grew out of his 4T pants. He's wearing the same size on top and bottom. It's a miracle!!!
But he's had this striped sweater vest for 2 years. It's perfect, because it has navy blue, light blue (the same color as blue dress shirts), white, olive green, and yellow stripes on it. So he can wear it with navy, tan, or olive pants, depending on which ones fit him at the moment.
It was too big when I got it for him, but it didn't look it when it was on. He's been wearing it up until this week (in fact, he is wearing it in his 4th birthday photos), when suddenly Zach grew into the clothes I bought to go with the vest 2 years ago! So that vest went straight from Jared's half of the closet to Zach's half. He wore it to church today with his tiny yellow tie, blue cords, and blue dress shirt. He's such a cutie!
And for a size update on Zach, he's wearing 2T pants and 3T tops, size 8 shoes (but they're a little long).
Below, a photo of Jared in the ever-lasting sweater vest at Aunt Lora's wedding, Dec 2006 and at his 4th birthday, Feb 2008.
