COURT CANCELED
Ryan's court appearance has been canceled. Today our old Boise neighbor's boyfriend plead guilty to second-degree murder, so Ryan doesn't have to testify against him.
I'm glad Ryan doesn't have to go to court, but we were both sort of looking forward to seeing how a trial worked. Ryan got to testify at the Grand Jury hearing a while back, but I couldn't go see that because they're closed to the public. So I was going to take the opportunity to see how our Justice System works. Oh well! It's better to not see that psycho man again.

So creepy still to think that a murder happened right next door to you!! Glad you don't have to go through it anymore even though it would have been kind of interesting to see how "factual" TV shows and movies are compared to the real thing.
