HEAD TO HIGHER GROUND!
When we saw that the mountains and foothills were covered with snow, we just had to go see it! So we drove to Table Rock, which is a big flat outcropping in the foothills of the Boise Mountains. The snow had almost melted that high up the hills when we got there, but Jared had a lot of fun making snowballs, dumping snow into the puddles and pools in the rocks, and making a "snow cake." He nearly cried when our wind-chapped, frozen faces insisted that we go back home!
The view was beautiful. We've been up there before, but only at sunset in the summer. We couldn't really enjoy the view then because the sun was in our eyes.
I took a few more photos--not tons--and decided to make the photo in this post the link to that part of my photo album. So click on the photo to see more!

You guys are such a fun family! I'm going to be an awful mother... first snow of the season, we're staying INDOORS! I hate snow... Actually, maybe I'll just send my kids your way and you can entertain them! :)
