PRIORITIES
We've made two trips to our new house now. Today, we met our new neighbors. They have a little girl who is 3 days younger than Jared! We got quite a bit done. Our master bath has a shower tower, towels, rugs, and other decorative stuff. Our closet has some clothes and shoes in it. Our bedroom has curtains. The boys bathroom has rugs and a curtain. And the powder room's decor is in place.
The best part is that we have pine garland with lights on the fireplace mantle, a wreath on the door, and we set up the Christmas tree! Never mind that we don't have a stick of furniture in the house. Ryan kept saying, "We can celebrate Christmas here, but we still can't sleep here..." Hey, it's decorate for Christmas now or never. And never is not acceptable!
We even ate our first dinner there tonight. We hauled over a frozen pizza, sat in our camping chairs and used a box for a table. It was so cozy with the fireplace going, mantle decorated, and Christmas music playing!
I have to find the drill bits so we can install our curtain rod and curtains in the living room. After that, we'll go over for a special Family Home Evening to decorate the tree.
