AH OH!
My friend wrote on her blog that Christmas is one week from today. Um, I thought it was about two weeks away! I'm going to apologize to everyone who should be getting gifts shipped from us. Because it's going to take a miracle for them to get to you on time.
I'd like to plead insanity. I mean, who moves right before Christmas? I must be insane. And of course, that's the reason everything is so late. I actually started working on these gifts before Halloween, but buying a house and moving got in the way of finishing them up.
I did get my Christmas cards out pretty early, though! I did those before the move, or we wouldn't have sent out any.
So now I think I've got all the major gifts shipped (smaller packages will be arriving late, Erin and Kelly), so I can dig through some boxes to find my cookbooks and cookie sheets, and we may actually do some holiday baking! Jared wants to do gingerbread houses, too. We'll have to see about that one...
