ROUND 4 OF THE DESIGNER FINDER CONTEST
I just finished up my submissions for round 4 of the contest. We had to make a page kit (12 items) and an add on pack (8 items) based on a specific color scheme, and it had to be a "heritage" kit. That means it's suitable for vintage (or even older) photos.
My mom (ain't she the best?) emailed me some scans she made of old ephemera (things that don't usually survive, like post cards, matchboxes, etc that are usually made of paper). My kit is inspired by the program card from my great-great grandmother's funeral in 1897. It said "In Loving Remembrance" on it, hence the name of my kit!
So here's the page kit:

And here's the add-on pack:
Making a scrapbook page is one of the ways I get ideas for what to put in my kits. And so far, the contest has required us to make a layout using our kit, so here's mine (although they haven't asked for it). My grandma is on the right, with the big bow on top of her head. I think I look like her!
P.S. I just showed this picture to Jared, blocking everyone in it except my grandma. I asked him who was in the picture, and without missing a beat, he said, "YOU!" He's never been fooled by pictures of me when I'm younger. Both boys recognize me down to about age 8. I guess I'm the spittin' image of my grandma (at that age, anyway)!
