YEAR IN REVIEW TAG
So my friend Renée tagged me with this tonight. It's kind of fun to think back on last year (yeah, it ended a whole day ago) and recognize all the blessings we've been given. So here we go!

In 2008 ...

How many ...

People did you kiss? Three: Ryan, Jared, & Zach

States did you visit? Utah, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado (all the states between Idaho and Missouri)

Places did you live? This is so sad: 4.

People did you date? I'd like to rephrase the question to "How many people did you go on dates with?" If you count dates to McD's on Tuesday nights for half-off Happy Meals and playing in the giant hamster tubes....then it's Jared, Zach, and Ryan.

Times did you get drunk? I've never been drunk, and I never will be.

Books did you read? I don't normally keep track, but I sure finished off the year with a rush. I found my Chronicles of Narnia books and was whipping through them until I lost The Voyage of the Dawn Treader just after they sailed away from the Duffelpuds.

People were living with you? Three

Animals were living with you? Incredibly, none. I never thought I'd live without animals, but here I am! We used to have a desert tortoise and a cat, but they had to stay in AZ.

What was your ...

Favorite movie? Prince Caspian was good, and I liked Hancock. I don't think I really disliked any movies I saw, except for the horrid shock I got when we watched I Am Legend. I didn't know it was a horror movie with mutant humans.

Favorite concert? Can't say I went to one.

Worst experience? Getting my Uhaul stolen right off my car.

Happiest moment? Hmmmm...there have been so many right here at the end. Maybe when I found out I won the DSP Designer Finder Contest? I've wanted that for so long. And being home owners again, knowing we can settle down and really begin our new life here in Idaho.

Biggest change? The whole freakin' year was about change. So I guess the biggest change is to stop changing and plan to stay in one house for years on end.

Biggest surprise? Winning the Designer Finder Contest, no question.

Did you ...

Break a bad habit? I think I've improved a few things...

Start a relationship? Does the mortgage company count? I have made some new friends.

End a relationship? I don't suppose so.

Change jobs? I'm still my kids' mom! But I look forward to adding a side job. I guess I got a job, but haven't started yet.

Change living situations? Oh so many times.

Lose a loved one? Only to distance. My family is so scattered!

Start a new hobby? Nope, I'm blissfully happy with my old ones. Except I think I've definitely stepped up the photography this year. Having the DSLR makes such a big difference, that it might be considered a new hobby!

Have an addition to the family? Nope.

Get married? No.

Get divorced? No, thank goodness!

So before New Years gets too far away, I tag Kika, Melanie, and Kat. Ready, set, GO!
(by the way, if you don't like being tagged, let me know. I think it's fun, and it gives me something to write. If it's more of a burden, or you just think it's lame, it's no fun, so don't do it!)

Okay, I did the tag. Just took me awhile since we have been busy busy busy!
