LIKE MOTHER, LIKE SON
Last night, Jared didn't fall asleep until nearly 11:00! That's because he was reading books to himself. Long, sorta hard ones, too, like The Berenstain Bears Go to School.
A few nights ago, we came upstairs to find him with the tiny color-changing flashlight he got from the dentist, reading by the flashing, colored light. I told him that when he was done with that book, he needed to turn it off and go to bed. He must have only heard the first part, because he turned off the flashlight and turned on his lamp instead. Uh yeah, that's what I meant.
Last night, he decided to read a story to Dad instead of the other way around. I guess he had a little trouble, with the words "interactive," "bulldozer," and "circus."
He's also started reading all the signs he can see from his car seat, just like I used to do (right, Mom?)
We're so proud of him for being a readin' fool!

That is so great that he can read so early. It opens up the world so much - I can tell from your posts he is loving books and that is nothing but good!
Wow, I am completely blown away. :) Good job! I use to stay up all night long reading too. It is a good thing. LOL
