SPRING IS HERE!
Jared has taken an interest in the calendar lately, and this week he has been saying, "Oooh, the first day of Spring is THIS WEEK! It's going to be so warm! I'm so excited!"

We've talked about how the weather hardly ever cooperates and displays its quintessential temperament for the first day of each season. But this year, it seems to be happening! The first day of Fall was cool and blustery--perfect soup weather. The first day of Winter, I think it actually snowed. And the first day of Spring was absolutely gorgeous today!

The boys commented on the singing birds. We went on a walk and got the sun in our eyes. Our jeans actually felt hot in the sun. I got out a camping chair and sat on our front porch to give Kenley (the girl I babysit) her bottle. It was heaven!

When my friend comes over to pick up her baby (on days I've been babysitting) she usually stays a while to chat. And it's usually chaotic because the boys love to talk to and show off for visitors (visitors beware!) Then they start trying to get my attention by jumping on me or off the furniture.
Today, I sent them into the back yard. It was so....quiet. And absolutely wonderful!

I've got to get my bike tire fixed! This is outside weather!
