CUTE STORY
After Zach's doctor's appointment, I did what I swore I would never do--tell Jared that I was leaving without him if he didn't hurry up. Well, actually, I just told him to get in the car. "NO!" "Okay, then I'll see you at home."
Oh boy, did that get him running. And crying. So as I buckled him in, I assured him that I would NEVER leave him anywhere unless he was with Daddy or Grandma or Grandpa or Emma's Mommy.
As we pulled away, he was still concerned. "What if you leave Zach?"
"I won't leave Zach, either, because I love him, too."
"But what if it is mistake?"
That floored me! His voice was so sad!
Luckily, he was satisfied when I told him that I'd been his mommy for 2 1/2 years and I had never ever left him somewhere by mistake. I guess he thought my credentials were adequate!
