Sleepover at Grandma's
Friday night, Ryan and I went to Little Philmont, a Stake-run Scout Leadership training "retreat" that wives were invited to. So Jared stayed the night with Grandma and Grandpa Lancaster.
I dropped him and Zach off early in the afternoon and went to get my haircut. Then I needed to go back home to finish packing for our trip. But Jared refused to go home. Grandma has way too many cool toys. So I took Zach and packed. We met Ryan at his parents' house when he got off of work. When we were about to leave, I told Jared that we needed to go (meaning Zach, Ryan, and I), and he got very sad and said he didn't want to leave! That put me at ease, knowing that there was no other place Jared would rather be.
When we got home, Lynne told us that Jared had only worn one diaper the entire time he was there, and that was while he was asleep. Wow! I think I need to send him there more often.
