FROG PODI've been toying with the idea of getting one of these ever since I first heard of them. I don't want to start rumors, but I don't know where to find the original information about the Frog Pod's inventor, and it's probably been 3 1/2 years since I first read about it. But as I recall, it was invented by a BYU student for a class project, and it was so good that it actually went to production! It's one of those ideas that is so obviously perfect that you wonder why you didn't think of it first.
This giant plastic frog sticks to your shower wall, and the frog's "back" is a big scoop with holes. You just scoop up all the bath toys and the water runs out through the holes. Then you set it back on the frog and everything is out of the way and gets a chance to dry. I put ours low enough that Jared can do it all by himself. Wahoo! Very nice for our duplex, because we share a bathroom with the boys. All those toys do get in the way. But not anymore!

We're so glad that you like the Frog Pod! I came across your post and thought I would give you the story about the inventor, Rebecca Finell. Rebecca was studying product design at Arizona State University when she and her husband had their first daughter. Prior to becoming a mom, Rebecca was planning to design medical products, but as a parent, she quickly started thinking of ideas for new products that could help make life a little easier. And that is how the Frog Pod was born. She entered the Frog Pod design in a student competition and won the grand prize. This gained her quite a bit of attention and several job offers, but she decided that she wanted to have her own company because she had so many other ideas. Rebecca partnered with Ryan Fernandez, who is also a father to four young girls, and they founded Boon. The company has launched several more innovative products since the Frog Pod and there are many more to come. You can see everything at our website at www.booninc.com.
Thanks again for your kind words! We love hearing from happy customers.
Sincerely,
Kate Benjamin
