WELL THEN!
I just found this comment in response to my entry about our new Frog Pod. I guess I was totally off. Of course, an ASU student is likely to be LDS, so maybe that's why it was written up in a Utah publication. Who knows!
I guess every once-in-a-while they must Google for Frog Pod. Otherwise, how in the world would they have ever found my blog?

We're so glad that you like the Frog Pod! I came across your post and thought I would give you the story about the inventor, Rebecca Finell. Rebecca was studying product design at Arizona State University when she and her husband had their first daughter. Prior to becoming a mom, Rebecca was planning to design medical products, but as a parent, she quickly started thinking of ideas for new products that could help make life a little easier. And that is how the Frog Pod was born. She entered the Frog Pod design in a student competition and won the grand prize. This gained her quite a bit of attention and several job offers, but she decided that she wanted to have her own company because she had so many other ideas. Rebecca partnered with Ryan Fernandez, who is also a father to four young girls, and they founded Boon. The company has launched several more innovative products since the Frog Pod and there are many more to come. You can see everything at our website at www.booninc.com.

Thanks again for your kind words! We love hearing from happy customers.

Sincerely,
Kate Benjamin
Director of Marketing
Boon Inc.

She and Ryan Fernandez, her business partner, are LDS from the Tempe West Stake here in Arizona. Very nice people.
