PACKIN' UP TO MOVE
We're packing up boxes once again. Unfortunately, our house in Glendale still hasn't sold, so we're not moving into a home of our own yet. We got claustrophobic in our tiny duplex in Boise, so we've rented a house, with a garage and a yard and everything, in Meridian. We're excited for lots of reasons:
  • Lots more room: The house is almost as big as our Glendale house, with a fenced back yard, four bedrooms, and a 3-car garage (bye-bye storage unit!)
  • Friends to be made: Meridian is brimming with young families, which means friends for the boys, and friends for me!
  • Close to things: I know the area a bit already because it's very close to where Jared took swimming lessons last summer. My favorite grocery store, parks, an elementary school, and other great places are nice and close. It's also closer to Ryan's office, although the drive will probably be the same length of time.
A bonus about this move is that we never fully unpacked from the last one. We have stacks and stacks of boxes that are still sealed from when the professional packer taped them up last May. The bummer is that we haven't seen our stuff in almost a year. It's gonna be like Christmas when we start opening them!
We've signed a year-long contract, so all of you will need to check your emails for our new address, because I know you'll be sending us a Christmas card, right?

Congratulations! It makes a huge difference being by parks and friends for the kiddos. I have missed that here where we moved. But I am excited to move again! We are going to be downsizing like you did this last year. But hopefully we will be so busy with the culture shock and new things to see and do we will not even mind :) Well enjoy setting up your new home!
