RIGHT BEHIND 'YA
Not to be outdone by his big brother, Zach is working on his academics, too. Still 4 weeks from his second birthday, Zach knows every single letter of the alphabet and is trying to get all of the sounds learned. He already knows quite a few of those. And he counts to nine. He also knows all his colors, although he insists that hot pink is really purple. I think we can let that one slide...
He talks constantly, but most of the time no one understands him. But it seems like he says, "Socks, shoes, play, outside!" at least a dozen times.
He handles himself very well on a trampoline, even with Jared jumping, too. He can even jump into the air, a feat which he cannot achieve on the ground. He can huck a ball really far, and somehow hits high speeds despite his comically short legs.
His latest "trick" is to pout with his lower lip stickin' out. It's desperately funny, and terribly idifficult not to laugh. But he is getting awfully stubborn, and will say, "NO mommy" with a little growl behind it. I sometimes have to stifle a laugh when he does that, too.
