JACKSON HOLE, WY

We hitched a ride along with Ryan to a business conference in Jackson, WY. We got up early so we could drive the 6 hours, check in, get settled, and eat lunch before Ryan attended the first presentation at 2 pm. Turns out it wasn't that great and we could have slept in a few more hours!
Ryan's boss took us all out to eat while we were there. We were sharing a "condo" at a ski resort. It had three levels and separate rooms with private bathrooms, and only shared a living room and kitchen.
Ryan was one of the presenters, and the only EIT (Engineer In Training) to speak at the conference. He did great, and got lots of compliments.
We didn't really know all the cool things to do in Jackson Hole (the valley where Jackson is), so we didn't get out and do too much. If we go next year, we'll look up more things to do. Even so, it was nice to be up in the mountains.
Saturday, Ryan went to more presentations in the morning, then we drove out to see the Grand Tetons and get out in the fresh air. We got some cool photos. See them here.
