HOW OLD ARE YOU?
My mother-in-law always says that she forgets how young my kids are because of the way they talk. I do, too!

Yesterday, Jared referred to the covered parts of the playground as "shelters."
Today, Jared told me that some fabric was "turquoise." When I asked him what that means, he said, "it's kinda greenish-bluish."
He also told me that he "air conditions himself" by running (I didn't get into evaporative cooling, but he probably would have enjoyed that explanation). But he decided that a "breeze" is better air conditioning because you don't have to do anything. This morning, he told me to shut the window because it was too "breezy."

Yesterday, Zach brought me a Bill Nye the Science Guy book and said, "scientist!"
