We woke up to a wonderfully dark, blustery Autumn day. The leaves are swirling off the trees and we've had a few drizzles. It's so cozy inside! I think I'll have a hot chocolate. If only our gas fireplace worked...
We had a very busy day yesterday, but managed to squeeze in a trip to the pumpkin patch between taking Ryan's Jeep to the mechanic, scheduling a repairman and having the dishwasher "fixed," finishing Halloween costumes, picking up Ryan's Jeep from the mechanic, and moving Ryan's stuff out of his old office and into the new. We didn't get home until 10:30! Zach has been skipping naps a lot, but he is SO getting one today!
We only spent an hour at the pumpkin patch, but I think it was fun! I took pictures of the boys in their costumes and we went on a hay ride. I'm not sure why it's still considered a "hay" ride, since there was no hay, but we drove around the corn maze in a trailer pulled by a FarmAll tractor. The driver's sweatshirt said, "Corn Cop" on the back. Too funny!
Tonight we're going to our ward Halloween party for dinner and whatever else they have in store for us. Then if it's not too late, we want to trick or treat in our neighborhood. Now I just need to find my Halloween tee shirt!
