PHOTO FUN
Someone is actually willing to give me a shot at taking their photos this weekend! I'm trying not to set myself up for disappointment. I imagine really amazing photos but don't really have the equipment or know how to actually capture them on "film."
Nor do I have much practice at posing people. I mean, usually I'm just happy if one of the boys will look in the general direction of the camera and doesn't have his finger up his nose.
So I went online and wow, there are so many amazing photographers out there! I got lots of ideas. I also found an old-timer who shares all his old-school posing secrets. You know, the Olan Mills kind of guy. The pictures are so funny because of the plaid pants and funky hairstyles. But I think the advice is valuable despite the drastic change in portrait styles.
I somehow coerced Jared into letting me try out what I learned on him. He was really having fun with it until he remembered that he's supposed to pull faces when I get out the camera. Nevertheless, I got one shot that I absolutely love!Wish me luck this weekend!
