Wow, our Realtor got us a home inspection already! Ryan met me and the boys and the Realtor over at the new house (I love saying that!) at 4 this afternoon. The boys immediately ran to the swing set and Jared spent at least an hour out there. digging in the sand.
The inspector didn't find any major problems, and he found a wagon, crib, stroller, and car seat in the attic! Ooops, someone forgot some stuff! We're going to notify the seller, but we'll probably be Craigslisting them.
While the men were focused on all the boring technical details, I had a notebook and tape measure at the ready. I measure windows and walls so I can decide where everything will go. AND I took pictures :)
It's going to be a nice home for us, and hopefully it will be our home for a long time to come. Before the year is out, Ryan and I will have moved 7 times in our 6 1/2 years of marriage. And that's not counting the stint when we stayed with his parents for a month! We would really like to settle down and not move for a long, long time.

I am so happy for you guys... congrats on the house! It looks fantastic! I'm so jealous that you guys are settling down and plan to stay there for a long time... I can't wait to do that some time in the future! Sounds like things are running smoothly now too...enjoy!
What an awesome house! I love it! The back yard is perfect for 2 growing boys. (and the fire pit is good for the grown boy) Cant wait to see the move in pictures and all the details of the decorating!
I am so excited for you and your family! That is fantastic. I can't wait to see pictures of the inside of the house. :) When will you be moving in? You probably said, but i missed it. LOL
