IT MUST BE 2008
Despite our best intentions, we just hadn't gotten around to telling our bishop that we're moving. It doesn't help that we're wary about real estate transactions falling through (once bitten, twice shy!) And on top of that, last week we went to a different ward (of the house we'd put an offer on) and this week we went to check out our new ward. Both weeks, Ryan had to go to our regular ward's Elder's Quorum to teach the lesson. I was starting to think that I was remiss and needed to give the bishop a call.
Not so! When Ryan showed up to teach today, he discovered that pretty much everyone knows and that they'd discussed it in meetings! The culprit? This blog.
There's an unofficial network of ward members' blogs out in cyber-space. Each blog has links to other ward members' blogs. If you looked at all of them, you'd probably have a comprehensive ward list!
I love it!
And best of all, our new house is in the same stake, and is only half a mile away. So I'll keep checking our blog network and keep up with what our ward is up to.
