UN-MOTIVATION
I am so SICK of moving. As I look around trying to decide what to pack first, I keep thinking, "I can't pack that up. I just got it out!" I'm trying to convince myself to, as my mom says, "get my rear in gear," but something subconscious is making me drag my feet. There's so much work to do, but I can't make myself do it.
I've packed up a big box of toys and all the decor in my downstairs bathroom. Jared packed a box of his books. And that would be the extent of our packing.
To make it even worse, everyone's decided that we can close a week earlier. It's almost certain that we'll get our keys one week from today!
That's so exciting, and so terrifying at the same time, because I don't know how I'm going to do it!
Ryan's absolutely unmotivated, too. We're trying to tell ourselves to make this one last move, then we don't have to again. I think if we were still in that dumpy duplex, we'd be much more eager to get out of it. But we've just gotten comfortably settled in this house. It's a pretty nice house. I guess it's like when you're lying in bed and are so comfy and sleepy that you just can't get yourself out.
GET OUTTA BED, SUSIE!
Does anyone have some motivation I can borrow?

You can do it! :) Just one more move, then you will be done. LOL Good luck!
It is hard to get motivated to move, especially during the holidays. So much work - ugh.
Are you a Christmas person??
If it were me I would think "I want to get it all moved in and put away before I put up the tree!!" Motivation:D
Good luck
I am with the other gal. Let your motivation be to get all moved quickly to set up for Christmas! How fun. I am excited for you! I am a little different I like packing. What I dislike the most about moving is unpacking the kitchen! That takes me forever. And just trying to fit things that you had in one closet but no longer fit in another. But everything else goes pretty quickly if you have things packed by room. should be better for you since you know exactly what you are going into. Good Luck! Forget Christmas presents! And just enjoy the blessings of Christmas and your new home and your family. I would rather no christmas gifts. and to be unpacked and enjoy a relaxing christmas!
