ASTHMA
It sounds like Zach has asthma, too. He has a cold, and needed one breathing treatment yesterday, and one today. He had one (also when he had a cold) a few months ago.
But if our boys are going to have asthma, I don't know that we could ask for it to be any milder! Jared had his first attack at 23 months, and still has attacks just about every time he gets the sniffles, when he's in a doggy house (where dogs live in the house 24/7), and sometimes when he runs around like a chicken with his head cut off (only when he's running and chasing other children). And Zach doesn't seem to have it nearly as bad as Jared. His first attack was at 2 1/2, and they're not very bad. I hope they outgrow it soon so this asthma stuff won't hold them back from doing what they want to do!

oh poor boy! I had difficulty breathing today and can't imagine having that as a constant feeling or something that happens due to environment and stuff like that. It would suck!

Entao, voce comeu waffles hoje? :)

Matt has asthma brought about by allergies and cold weather. He started around 4-5 years old and last year was horrible! He got bronchitis 5 times and missed so much school...thank goodness it was only kindergarten.

This year he was put on Pulcort as a preventive measure, Verimyst to keep his nose clear (both he has to take every day) and has a second inhaler as a back-up just in case. He's only had to attacks this year (knock on wood) and both have been very mild.

I hope Jared and Zach continues to have mild asthma and doesn't have to take an inhaler when they are older.
