Cons:
- After Christmas morning, you wonder where to put all the new toys and games and things, since you haven't found a place for all the old toys and games and things.
- Can't find your wrapping paper and gift tags--they're in a box somewhere.
- Holiday baking is tough when you can't find your cookie sheets, or your sugar, or your flour.
- You don't know any of your neighbors yet, and since you can't find your cookie sheets, you also can't take plates of holiday goodies and a card as an excuse to meet them.
- You got most of your Christmas shopping done before the move, but those last-minute gifts are impossible to finish up!
- Can't find all your Christmas boxes because there are boxes everywhere!
- Get to set up Christmas decorations before moving over practical stuff like beds.
- Great motivation to get all the boxes out of the living room, so gifts will fit under the tree.
- You get a HOUSE for Christmas!
- If you moved after Christmas, you'd have to pack up the decorations, and then pack up all of your other stuff. Ugh. And you'd have Christmas surrounded by boxes.
- Chances are, you don't have to worry about yard work (except shoveling snow) so you can focus on getting settled inside.
- Your Christmas cards double as "we moved" cards.
- After a long day of moving and unpacking, you can relax by the fire, listen to Christmas music, and drink cocoa while snow is falling outside. Nothin' better than that!
