LOVELY FIRST DAY OF WINTER
I've been wondering about our "accuweather" forecasts. It seems like for the past two weeks, they've been totally wrong! They were very specific. It was supposed to start snowing Thursday around 5, and snow all night with about 2" of snow. Instead, it snowed for about 20 minutes on Friday. Saturday was supposed to be positively polar, with a high of 11 degrees. The water dripping off the roof made us suspicious of that.
But I'm happy that it's snowing today. It's so beautiful! The snowflakes are huge and fluffy, and everything is coated with several inches of beautiful white.
The idea of a white Christmas is so enchanting! It's supposed to snow off and on all week long, but get this...it's supposed to turn into RAIN on Christmas!!! Let's hope the forecasters are wrong on that one, too!

Nope, we're staying put, so we LOVE the white stuff!
I love it when it snows....just as long as it stays off the roads and sidewalks. He he he. :) Merry Christmas!
