VALENTINE'S DAY
We haven't had a date night in a long time. It seems like since we moved, we've always have something going on, from campouts to dentist appointments. But we always make Valentine's Day, our Anniversary, and our birthdays happen!
And we have gone out on February 13th for years. Babysitters are easier to get, and restaurants aren't as crowded. It isn't usually Friday the 13th, but that didn't dissuade us this year.

We went all out for V-day: Fuddruckers and the cheap movies! We hadn't been to Fuddruckers together, ever, so that was kind of fun. I forgot how yummy their pickles are! We are too cheap to consider forking over $19 to watch a movie when we can spend half that for two tickets, two popcorns, and two sodas!

We saw 7 Pounds with Will Smith. It was weird and an emotional rollercoaster. It wasn't a movie that I can say I really enjoyed, but it was thought provoking and interesting. It was well made and very well acted, and one thing that Ryan and I agreed on is that we have never seen a movie with that story line before! They definitely came up with something new.

Tonight, we'll order a heart-shaped pizza (I'm too tired to make it myself, although the boys would love to help) and have ice cream left over from Jared's birthday party. The boys made Valentines for Ryan and we have some decorations up. V-day is pretty low-key around here, but we like it.

I've heard that that movie is one we should go see. Happy Valentine's Day! :)
