MEET MY NEW MAGNETS!I'm tired of weak magnets that slide down the fridge door, or can't hold up more than 2 sheets of paper. Or my favorite, when the breeze I create while walking past the fridge sends cascades of preschool artwork to the floor. Yes, my magnets are that lame.

And if they aren't that lame, they're some really cute ones my sister made with glass pebbles. But they were irresistable to a 2 year old, and most of them have now become detached from their pebbles. So sad.

My fridge door is cluttered. I like it that way, because, well, it looks like a family lives here. Every once in a while I de-clutter it while no preschoolers are watching. The best pictures get the artist's name and date in the corner and are added to a 3-inch "Art Book" binder. The rest get recycled.

But back to the clutter. Cute magnets get lost in the visual mess that is my fridge. And add to the visual mess that is my fridge.

So I came up with the idea that little mirrors would add a little bling without adding to the clutter. And the bargain fairies granted my wish by directing my eyes to four packages of (2) lipstick mirrors for 50 cents each. Not a lipstick wearer myself (although I did venture into lipgloss land a few years ago), I didn't know that self-adhesive itty-bitty mirrors existed!

Add a pack of strong ceramic magnets from Lowe's (I am not sure if that's the cheapest source) and voila! Two minutes later my fridge had bling!
I just like that they stick to each other like this. They're kinda fun. Don't tell the kids that.

I like those! A lot~!

So I was wondering if you have or could create what they call a "button" that links to your designs? I am thinking about the best way to post about them, but also have something permanent that my friends can see, you know?
what do u think? :)

I get my magnets for fridge stones and bottle caps that I make, at Roberts with my 40% off coupon. But I don't know if Roberts is in Idaho or not. :)
