Just in time for the best weather so far this year, with temperatures in the low 80's and beautiful sun shining on the trees in bloom, the boys and I caught colds!
We have no energy to go out and enjoy the gorgeosity (nice word, eh?) of the great outdoors. Even if we had the energy to go out, the sinus headaches, runny noses, and sore throats would keep us inside.
Yesterday, Zach unexpectedly fell asleep at 11 am. Today, Jared didn't respond when I asked him what he wanted for lunch. I found him asleep on our little chair-that-folds-out-into-a-bed thinga-ma-jig. Both of them seem to feel much better after their long naps.
At first I thought this wasn't going to be a bad one, but I take that back. We're pretty miserable. I've been searching for our can of Lysol, in the hopes that Ryan won't get it, too. He's fine so far, but with all he's got going on at work, the last thing he needs is to get sick!
Oh, and just to add insult to injury, the weather is slated to take a dive starting Thursday. Highs around 60 with rain. Of course, I don't see our colds going away this week, so maybe it'll be nice to have the weather match our moods!

Colds are not fun! But look at the bright side...you could be down here with them in our 100 degree heat!:):):) Horrible!:):):)
I feel your pain! We are having the same problem out here! Luckily it was raining a lot this week. It made me feel better since we could not go out anyway.
And I am not looking forward to that 100 degree weather!
I think it leaked through the computer into our house. Brinley and I have been sick with colds. My dear sweet little girl got me sick. Ppphhhbbbttt! :( I hope you get better soon!
