Book Recommendations?

I finally got around to reading the Twilight series and devoured them. But now I can't think of any books I want to read. I haven't had much luck just pulling likely-looking books off the shelf at the library, so I figured I'd ask all of you for some recommendations!

I like book series because once I find something I'm interested in, it's nice to have 2 or 3 more on tap. But I'll take anything I can get right now.

I'd love to hear which books you've enjoyed!

I can recommend the Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander, a definite favorite of mine.

The Dark is Rising series by Susan Cooper is quite good.

I also loved getting pulled into the Shadow Children series by Margaret Peterson Haddix.

Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer is extremely clever. I need to get my hands on the last few of that one still.

The Lost Years of Merlin by T. A. Barron was pretty good.

There's also the Tartan Magic series by Jane Yolen and the York Trilogy by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor.

Have fun!

I have tons and tons to have you read. I love the series of the no.1 ladies dective agency. there are like 12 in the series and they are soooo funny. very light and easy reading. Great stories. You will laugh and love them.
Also, the last lecture by Randy Pausch is one of my favorites. Will get you to cry and laugh, and just realize what is important in life. Made me want to change my life.
I am a mother, the runaway mother, and the series of the great and terrible. (churchy stories.) Loved them.
Let me know what you pick. Would love to hear.

I am not a HUGE reader, but I get into it a few times a year and read non-stop for a few weeks!
Lately, my favorite author is Harlen Coben...suspense writer. He has a series with the same character and then a load of other books that aren't really a series. He's good and you won't be able to put the books down!
