Fall is Here!

After a talk about what happens in Autumn, Zach latched onto the idea that when leaves change colors, they're getting their pajamas on, so they can sleep through winter.

We've been amazed at all the maple trees around town and how amazingly red their pajamas are!

There are some very picturesque places on the way to Jared's school. On the way home today, we stopped so Jared could try his hand at photography for a school art contest. The subject is "Beauty is..." so we stopped by all the beautiful places we see on our drive.

Jared is still working on his homework, so the photos he took aren't ready yet, but I couldn't resist taking a few of my own! How lucky am I that this is my weekday drive?

This last one is the landscaping outside our subdivision, along the road. It's pretty all summer, but man, they really planted well for Fall color!
