Trip to AZ Part 3

My mother-in-law can work a great deal! She got us free tickets to the Phoenix Children's Museum. It was awesome!

There was a tricycle area, with cool trikes and things to ride through. (That's just another kid Zach is toting in his trailer, not a cousin)
There's a grocery store, too. Anna is totally rockin' that headband, which she made in the craft room. Zach is her cashier.
Jared and Zach both took turns painting the huge cardboard castle (or whatever is under the 537 layers of paint)
And in the "Grand Ballroom," they all built a "ball machine." The pipes are mounted on magnets, which can stick anywhere on a big sheet metal wall. Then you drop golf balls in at the top and they fall through the contraption you built. All the boys (including Ryan) had fun with that!
There's a pizza kitchen, with crust and toppings all made of fabric. Then you bake it in a brick "oven" and can serve it at a little restaurant booth. Kaleb made this one for me. Yum!
The noodle forest was super fun, too, although seriously, how do they expect to keep the kids from running in there? (there was a big sign saying "no running" and they gave me dirty looks) And it was quite difficult to determine if your child was still in there, or if he'd gone out the exit on the other side and was now climbing into the construction zone. I spent a lot of time ducking down to the floor to look for a particular pair of Spiderman shoes.
The garage was fun, too, with a motorcycle and race car to sit in. It also had pinewood-derby type cars on roller skate wheels and long curvy tracks to race them down. There were all sorts of other things to do, too, and they're still building tons more! I can't wait to go back in a few years (even if we have to pay) and see what else they've come up with. It was WAY too much fun!

The boys played so hard! Even Jared fell asleep in the car, and he hasn't done that in years!

Thanks, Grandma!
