Seizure Follow-Up

We went to the pediatrician to follow up on Zach's seizure. He asked me about what happened to Zach and what the ER doctor did. He said that the doctor did everything right, which is nice to know!

He gave Zach a neurological test, which seemed like a fun game. He asked him to touch his nose and then the doctor's finger over and over again, as fast as he could. He asked him to hold his hands out and flip them over, then back again fast. He looked into his eyes with a little flashlight, and a few other things. Zach just laughed at him and said he's silly.

He told me to just watch and wait, and we're hoping that Zach never has another seizure. If he does, then they'll do in-depth neurological testing with MRI's and such. In the meantime, I'm to watch for twitchy eyes and never leave him alone near water. If he has an otherwise harmless seizure in the bathtub, he'd probably drown.

So that's that. Now we just wait for him to not have a seizure ever again in his life (fingers crossed!)
