Your son/daughter was one of 10 finalist today in our first round of the Spelling Bee at Galileo. They received a ribbon and will be announced tomorrow morning during the announcements at school.
Their teacher was given the 3rd Grade spelling words list and should be sending them home with your student tomorrow (Thursday the 3rd). They will have a week to study these words to prepare for the 2nd round with the 3rd grade participants on Wednesday, Februrary 9th in the afternoon. The time will be determined by the 3rd grade teachers.
