Big Baby, no web site, and FATHER'S DAY
I weighed Zach at my doctor's office. While it's not very precise (I used a scale for adults that only measures to 1/4 of a pound), he weighs about 13 pounds!!! Of course most of you don't keep track of how much a newborn should weigh, but that's a lot. 90% of babies Zach's age weigh less than he does.
And yet, he just plain isn't fat. He's a little bit chubby, but there are no Michelin man rolls or giant cheeks. He's just solid, much like his cousin Spencer was.
He's ready to move up a size in diapers. As soon as the size 1's are used up, we're moving to 2's.

Jared is a threat to Zach's well-being. He loves Zach so much that he just can't stop touching him. Zach sleeps best on the couch, curled up in his Boppy pillow, but that means he's accessible by Jared. And Jared likes to cover him with blankets and pillows, or ocassionally with himself. He gets in trouble, but such a cute little baby is just irresistable to him. He wants Zach to grow up fast so they can play. Poor little guy!

I got an order for my web site, even though I don't have a web site at the moment. It's a repeat customer, and she said she "panicked when (she) couldn't load my web page." So she just emailed me. That works! I got the order done and received payment the next day. It's always fun to get $$$.
My web host seems to have disappeared from the face of the planet. Last time I checked their web site, it said they'd just moved to Bulldog Ave. in Provo. But now their web site doesn't load and they won't answer my emails. So if anyone knows of a good, cheap web host (that allows FrontPage extensions) please let me know!

Jared made Ryan some cute things in Nursery. It's so fun to get the Mommy and Daddy things! I can't wait for a macaroni necklace.
We went to the inlaws for dinner that evening. Grandma, Scott, and an old missionary came. He is about to leave for home and came back to visit Dennis and Lynne. He'd helped us move in over a year ago, so it was fun to see him again. He couldn't believe how big Jared was and that we had another boy. I asked how long it had been since he'd been in the area and he said, "Jared was going like this" and he made one of Jared's baby signs! Kinda cute.
We all chipped in and bought Dennis a nice set of knives. He told me one day that it was sad that he had never had a nice set, since he'd worked through college as a meat cutter. He said he'd never gotten such a nice gift for Father's Day before. I told him that now his kids are grown, he won't be getting many gifts, because we'll be going in together on one big nice one. At least that's how it's worked in the Eagar family.
Jared drew a smiley face on a card for Ryan, and we gave him a big tool box with some tools and a work light inside. Now he can keep his tools together, organized and portable, a big problem until now.
Lynne made a cooked peach pie with fresh peaches they'd picked from a friend's orchard. YUMMM! All in all I think it was a good day, but I guess you'll have to ask the dads.
