SCARY MOMENT FOR JARED
Ryan got free tickets to the Diamondbacks game tonight, and took Jared with him. Zach and I enjoyed a quiet evening together. Zach went to bed early. When Ryan came back with Jared, we went outside to look at the storm blowing in. That's when we notice the fire engines and smoke billowing a few blocks away. Ryan and I talked about how there must be a fire. Suddenly, Jared ran into the garage screaming. I stopped him to figure out what was wrong, but he was crying too hard for me to understand anything more than that he wanted to make sure Zach was okay. So we took him into Zach's room. When Jared saw his baby brother asleep in his crib, he whispered, "there's no fire in here!" He had been running in to save his baby brother from the fire. He is THE SWEETEST kid in the entire world!
