ZACH CAN WALK!
Saturday night, Zach decided to go for it. He walked about 5 steps to me, then dove into my arms. For some reason, he wouldn't walk from me to Ryan, so I had to hand him to Ryan, then let him walk back. We did that a few times, then moved on to other activities. But Zach wasn't done. He walked from toy to toy in the family room for a little extra practice.
He showed off his new skill at Easter dinner for Grandma and Grandpa Lancaster. He's no Jared-- after Jared decided to walk, he walked tirelessly all over the house. He always waited to try something until he knew he could do it well. Zach subscribes to the usual baby method of try, try again. He walks a few steps and falls, then tries again later. But he's on his way!
