GIDDY UP!
As you all undoubtedly know, Jared's room is decorated all cowboy. This started back when we didn't know if Zach would be a girl or boy, but that one day, our kids would end up sharing a room. I figured cowboy, cowgirl, it's a fun but gender-neutral theme for small kids.
Kids just love little chairs, don't they? I nabbed this cool vintage school chair and immediately spray painted the gray a cheery red. And then two years later (a.k.a. this week), I got around to painting the wood with a cow print. I think I imagined it much cuter, but I still like it. And despite Jared's red quilt, his room needs more color.
Before
After

The funniest part is that the boys hardly ever sit in it. It's mostly a ladder in their eyes, a way to get to stuff that I've put up high to keep it away from them. And every night, I sit on it to sing to Jared. Because as his family and babysitters all know too well, he won't go to bed without a song!

That turned out SUPER CUTE Susie:)

That is one of my favorite things to do - take old stuff and recycle into something useful and cute, it just adds charm and uniqueness - Love it!
