WELCOME AUTUMN!
When does this ever happen? It's technically the first day of Autumn today and today is a very Fall-ish day! I suppose yesterday was a little Fall-ish, but today just feels like Fall. The high is only in the mid 60's, it's getting dark earlier (check over on our gadget--we have equal amounts of day and night now!) and a few of the leaves are starting to change. And you know that psycho tree down the street I posted about earlier? Yeah, so half of the trees leaves have turned bright red and fallen off, while the other half are still green. Cuckoo!
I got the Fall decorations out a few days ago. I remember thinking last year that I had too many decorations. What we have really was too much for that tiny duplex, but now our Fallishness is diluted greatly by the size of this house. I don't think I'll actually buy anything, though. I would rather do that when I have a house that is mine. Buy stuff for the house instead of making what I've already got work. How would that be?
I love this time of year! And today I even bought our traditional Pillsbury orange rolls for General Conference. It's a somewhat lame tradition, you know, because it comes in a can, but it's a tradition nonetheless. I also bought some canned pumpkin to make pumpkin cake with chocolate glaze. Mmmmm! And maybe some pumpkin-chocolate chip cookies, or glazed pumpkin cookies, or Half Moon Bay pumpkin bread. I guess the baking season has begun!

Oh yes! The baking season has indeed begun!
That tree down the street really is psycho - I honestly don't remember it ever doing that in all the years we have lived here.
It is truly strange.

I love that someone else knows about that psycho tree! It's so fun to have a neighbor looking at my blog!
And I see that you have been blogging about baking, too! Isn't Autumn this year so fun?
