SECRET CAMERA
Last week, we read a fictional story about a girl with a photographic memory. She used it to help her forgetful friend remember where he'd put his field trip permission slip.
When the book described how this girl remembers things as pictures, Jared excitedly interrupted to describe how his brain has a secret camera inside, and when he wants to remember something, his brain takes a picture with the camera. Then (imagine his arm movements as he's describing this) the pictures fly to the back of his brain. When he tries to remember something, he's looking through all the photos. When he can't remember something, it just means that he can't find the right photo.
What is that? Insight? I'm not sure!
