SELF-CENTERED
I'm feeling rather self-centered today. I guess I think that what I've been doing today is what conceited people do.
I got an email from Digital Scrapbook Place asking for a bio and a head-and-shoulders photo, so they can induct me into "Team Digital" on January 1. Well, I thought my Blogger profile photo was kind of goony, and it was taken while I was in my pajamas, so I figured I had to take some new photos of myself.
So I grabbed a dark bedsheet and slammed it in my shower door for a backdrop, grabbed the tripod and my camera's remote control. Oh, and I did my hair and makeup (I wasn't planning on either when I woke up). It was quite convenient to be shooting in my bathroom, because my closet is in there, and I changed clothes and jewelry three times (yet another conceited-sounding activity).
Do conceited people take headshots of themselves, then upload them to their computer and agonize about which one looks best? Maybe I'm not too conceited, because I tried to pick ones that didn't look too posed and prissy and full-of-myself. But this is definitely NOT my usual day-to-day routine, and I feel a little silly!

not self centered or conceited. You had to have a photo and it is always nice to have an up to date photo. And first impressions are huge...right.?. Plus it is just fun to get fixed up and take pictures. I think being a mom we miss out on getting pictures taken of us when we are actually ready for the day or fixed up for a special event. Have fun! You are beautiful!

I love this one on this entry and the one on the about me. I think I like the one on the about me better. You're so cute! I take pictures of myself all the time, Trevor can't stand it! hahaha :)

Kika, I like them both, of course, but the "About Me" one is kind of fancy looking, and the one I picked is more "artsy" looking. I think. There are some really awful pictures for designers' profiles, so I'm not worried about either one not being good enough. I mean, some have other people in them, and some are even blurry!
I really wanted to have someone else take pictures, but man, it sure was convenient to do them myself in an hour!
