GROWTH SPURT
I really hope that we've got growth spurts going on here, because my boys are eating shocking amounts of food.
After church today, we had waffles for lunch. It was late, around 2:30 when we ate. And it's Fast Sunday, but the boys weren't fasting! After I'd only gotten to eat one waffle, I had to stop to make more batter because we were already out.
Zach ate 3 1/2 waffles and was done. Jared got at least 4, plus some strawberries. He asked for more of both, but I had to say we were all out. So he asked what else he could eat. I offered an apple, and he said, "Okay, but I want the whole thing. Don't cut it up."
Hopefully that will hold him until dinner at 6!
Our fridge is too small. You'd think a family with just 2 adults and 2 preschoolers wouldn't need a giant fridge, but the one that came with the house just isn't cutting it. It usually crammed so full that you daren't touch anything, because it will all fall out, and still I can't seem to keep these boys of mine fed!
And Ryan says I need to pick up a family-sized waffle iron next time I see one. I just looked online. Do you know how expensive they are? Yikes! If anyone has any recommendations, please share your waffle wisdom!

Man, you gotta love boys that can eat. :) Sorry, waffle machines aren't cheap, but they are totally worth it. I love waffles. Yummmmmmmmm.
I don't have a big one either but you can make a bunch of them and freeze them for later. I do that and then microwave them when they want them. Saves you from having to buy a new big one but a big one would be nice too. Just think, if you buy one and they decide they don't want waffles anymore and want toast instead that would be a bummer huh? :)
