STRANGE
I took the tree down yesterday, and most of our Christmas decor. And it's so strange, because the normal thing to do is to haul that stuff to their old spot in the garage or attic, then put everything in the house back where it was. Well, we don't have an old spot in the garage, and there is no "back where it was. So even though we've lived here for a month (well, it will be a month tomorrow), I am suddenly having to decide where to put the furniture!
And do you know how full your house feels when it's full of Christmas decorations? (not at first, but after a month of it) And then you take them out and it feels neater and less cluttered? Well, that's strange, too, because it doesn't feel neater, it feels bare, like we're moving out again. We only have two pictures hung on walls, so taking down the wreaths and such leaves our walls empty.
Weird.
