Packin' Up

It's time to pack up some clothes. A cute maternity shirt of mine had been hiding at the bottom of the laundry basket for a week, but came out of the dryer in time for me to throw it on this morning. After having to re-button the last button for the third time today, I've given up. It's going into a box. It just doesn't fit anymore.

I had a nice surprise with some capris, though. They used to only fit right after they were washed. Otherwise, their waistband just hung loose around me. It's a weird new style, so it's hard to explain. I'd retired them as being a pain in the rear, but pulled them on today and found that they don't hang loose. I fill 'em now. Hmmm...I hope they're not too tight right after I wash them now...

I do have some clothes that seem too big. Or they did last time I tried them on. They're mostly long-sleeved, so it's coinciding amazingly well with the change in seasons. I just need to hang in there for a few more weeks, because it's still hot. It's about time for something new to wear, anyway. I'm tired of the same ol' same ol'.

As huge as I feel, I have to say that I'm quite proud of my shadow. If my back is toward the sun, you really can't tell I'm pregnant. Then I turn sideways and WHOA! Hugeness. I'm going to feel proud of my shadow while I can. I'm sure it won't last for the next 2 1/2 months.
