P is for....

P was the letter of the week for Jared's kindergarten class, so on Friday, they had a Pajamas and Popcorn Party! How fun was that?

It was strange to send Jared to school in his pajamas. He actually needed some new ones, and we found these awesome sets at Costco, so he was stylin'. His other option was threadbare hand-me-down thermals that he'd finally split the knees on. Not much of an option. Doesn't he look cute?

On the way home from school, we decided to continue the fun by having a P dinner. So we had Pizza, Pineapple (in our Jell-o) and Pink Pop (Cherry 7UP). Then, for the piece de resistance, Pumpkin Pudding Pie! Hows that for fitting in all the P's you can?

This was all very impromptu, and I happened to have a box of pumpkin pie spice Jell-o instant pudding. We had fun smashing graham crackers to make the crusts, then squishing it into our little glass bowls. Then we mixed up the pudding and poured it in. We'd also done some early Thanksgiving shopping for spray whipped cream, so we were all set!
Mmmmmm!
